AS ALREADY AMENDED SEVERAL TIMES THE LATEST BY
DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE
NO. 192/MPP/KEP/6/2000.

THE DECREE OF THE MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE ON THE CHANGE IN ATTACHMENT I TO THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NO. 230/MPP/Kep/7/1997 ON GOODS SUBJECTED TO TRADE REGULATION AS ALREADY AMENDED SEVERAL TIMES THE LATEST BY THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NO. 192/MPP/Kep/6/2000.

Article I

1. To change the provision in Serial Number 92 (Ex-chapter 49) of Attachment to the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 230/MPP/Kep/6/1997 as already amended several times the latest by the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 192/MPP/Kep/6/2000.

a Magazines and all types of other printed matter made of paper in the Indonesian language and local languages.

b. Print items: books, magazines, leaflets or brochures. Chinese language newspaper.

c. Paper offset print items for cigarette packs and medicine labels in the Indonesian language or merely using foreign languages.

Exempted from the import ban in points a and b:

1. Common practices in diplomatic relations.

2. Reading materials and other printed matter for school and university students including those written in braille letter according to the stipulation of the Minister of Education and - and Culture.

3. Books and brochures of technical/industrial matters related to the production/industrial processes according the stipulation of the Minister of Industry and Trade.

4. Newspaper as hand luggage of passengers of planes or ships for personal purpose.

Exempted from the import ban in point c:

Paper offset printed items for cigarette packs and medicine labels stick on the goods.

2. With the stipulation of this decree, all other provisions mentioned in the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 230/MPP/Kep/7/1997 as already amended several times the latest by the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 192/MPP/Kep/6/2000 is declared to remain effective.

Article II

This decree starts to be effective as from the date of stipulation.

For public cognizance, this decree shall be announced by placing it in the Statute Book of the Republic of Indonesia.
